This is a 2 minute and 48 second video on deforestation.

Forests cover over 30% of the earth and the ecosystems have an essential role in our planet.
The most abundant cause for greenhouse gas emissions is agriculture and forestry which over 24%.

Deforestation also helps in the maximum release of carbon dioxide. When trees are cut down they release all the carbon dioxide they have and it goes into the atmosphere.

The trees are the source that takes in the carbon dioxide in the air. Less trees mean more carbon dioxide and again means higher levels of global warming.

Forests are home to about 80% of the earth's wildlife, but because of deforestation, 60-70% species are going extinct every year.
It also affects the local people who depend on forests for food and shelter.

Agriculture- is one of deforestation's biggest causes. Trees are cut down for growing crops or for cattle rearing.
Logging- trees are also cut down in abundance to give us paper and other materials.
Urban Sprawl- forests are cleared for people to set up their houses and other buildings.

Even though now this is our situation, it doesn't mean that it can't go back to normal. Reducing our consumption of the forests' natural sources, eliminating clear cutting, and planting new trees to replace old ones can still save our forests.
